This Research Disclaimer applies to educational demonstrations, interactive simulations, and research-facing materials published on the FinTechLab SPbU website, including the anti-fraud simulation.
The simulation and related materials are educational. They illustrate how social-engineering pressure and behavioural manipulation can be structured in financial contexts. They are not a formal scientific study, clinical protocol, or regulated assessment procedure.
Participation does not diagnose any condition, trait, or vulnerability. The experience is not an individual fraud-risk assessment and does not measure a visitor’s susceptibility to fraud, compliance, or social engineering.
No real payment, transfer, account action, or banking operation occurs. The simulation does not request credentials, OTP, PIN, card numbers, or other banking secrets. Choices and results are not stored or transmitted by the Website; experiment state exists only temporarily in browser memory.
On-screen “signal analysis” explains the constructed attack scenario for educational purposes. It is not a live production machine-learning system scoring visitors, not a biometric or psychophysiological measurement, and not a claim of personal psychological profiling.
Completing the simulation does not guarantee that you will detect or avoid real-world fraud. Real attacks vary. Always verify critical requests through official channels you already trust, independently of any message that creates urgency.
References to research areas, projects, or publications on the Website do not incorporate those works into the simulation as a formal study protocol, and do not create participant status in any research project solely by using the Website.
